Hazelwood Club Working with people of pre-retirement age who have a cognitive impairment (short term memory loss). The Hazelwood Club is a social club for people with short term memory loss who are still physically active and want to access a social environment.

At the Hazelwood Club, with the participation of group members, we arrange a programme of activities to stimulate cognitive abilities. A varied programme of activities is organised which is determined by the group members.

Referrals usually come via Old Age Psychiatry (who have taken on board the needs of younger people, or care managers who have been assigned young people with dementia who are under the age of 65)
