Fundraising - As a charity we set ourselves a target of fundraising 10% of our annual income. This is done by attending various fundraising events and writing fundraising proposals for specific projects.

We have a fundraising team who meet on a monthly basis to decide our fundraising strategy and who then carry out various fundraising activities to raise that money.  The fundraising team are always looking for new ideas for fundraising and for people who could spare one or two days per year to help with stalls at fetes, car boot sales etc. They are also looking for people who have time to search the internet for fundraising opportunities, write funding proposals and talk to prospective funders.

If you feel you have time and would like give us some help please give us a call

You can support us today by visiting one of the following partnership schemes from which we earn valuable commission...

www.buy.at/readingcrossroads  Companies taking part include Amazon, Tesco, Littlewoods, John Lewis, Waterstones, Sky and many others

www.easyfundraising.org.uk Companies taking part include Comet, Woolworth, Virgin, Toys R Us, Tiscali, Phones 4U and many more, and may include some of the above – with this site you need to set your self up with a user name and password, and then chose Reading Crossroads as the charity you want to donate to

www.yellowmoon.org.uk  Supplies craft activity materials and each item shows how much will be donated to the charity of your choice – just select your items, go to the checkout and you will be asked to nominate the charity of your choice – our code is SRE 10209, or you can look up Reading Crossroads.

http://www.bigcharitybox.org/vote.php The Big Charity Box sells space to companies, and then donates that space back to charities.  All you have to do is to set yourself up an account and then vote for Reading Crossroads.  In due course we will be sent our share of the proceeds.  You are entitled to vote once a month and an email is sent to you to enable you to do this.

Old mobile phones – we have registered with FoneAid to collect old mobile phones.  They do not have to be working.  They are either repaired or re-cycled and Reading Crossroads receives £3.00 for every mobile phone they collect.  So perhaps you could arrange collection points and then let us know when we can collect them from you, or maybe someone could deliver them to the office
